We track the latest initiatives in renewable energy from conception to realisation. The aim of 20% by 2020 should be a common goal for all energy producers and governments around the world.

Renewable Energy Development will enderavour to keep a running scorecard on the progress towards achieving the goal that 20% of energy consumption will come from renewable energy sources.

We would also be pleased to receive any and all notification of existing projects that have not been covered on these pages or, if the status of a project that has been covered has changed we would also like to hear.

In the meantime you can all help the world reach the goal by installing your own solar hot water system or photovoltaic cells in your own home. Failing that turn off a light. The less we use, the less we need.
