The Goshen South Wind Farm, which is a proposed 450MW wind project in Idaho, generated by 150 wind turbines has now been approved for construction by the Bingham County commissioners.

The commissioners took into consideration the opposition put up by locals but the need to produce renewable energy won out in the end.

Peggy Stolworthy, a rancher who owns the 9,000 acres where the turbines would be located, said royalty payments will help her keep cattle on the land.
