Wind Power | Saundatti Wind Project
The Saundatti Wind Project is a proposed wind farm that is to be developed by CLP India which is a wholly owned subsidiary of CLP Group. The Saundatti Wind Project will have a maximum capacity of 82.4MW of renewable energy sourced electricity comprising 103 Enercon wind turbines, each with a capacity of 800kW.
The Saunetti Wind Farm will be located in the southern Indian state of Karnataka and will join the Samana Wind Project as the second greenfield project that will be jointly developed by CLP India and Enercon Ltd.
Construction of the wind farm is expected to begin towards the end of 2008 with a proposed completion date of mid-2009.
